Here is an absolutely gorgeous set of chairs, done in the French Neoclassical style. The chairs are in beautiful condition with just a few scuffs to the wood and a few faint markings to the fabric. The amount of detail in these chairs is impressive. No makers mark is present. While the chairs do appear to be more recently made, the maker used timeless construction methods such as spring seating. This is a feature in higher-quality dining chairs and provides extra comfort and support. The springs, usually placed in the seat cushion, help distribute weight more evenly, making the chair more comfortable to sit in for long periods. The wood used appears to be mahogany, the chairs are 100% solid wood construction.
The arm chairs measure 24x24x37" with a seat height of 20". The side chairs measure 19x24x37" with a seat height of 20".
